Canucks Overcome Early Deficit to Earn Thrilling Victory

Vancouver, BC –

The Vancouver Canucks battled back from a 2-0 deficit to defeat the Vegas Golden Knights 4-2 on Tuesday night at Rogers Arena. The win snapped a two-game losing streak for the Canucks and moved them to 10-5-2 on the season.

Shea Theodore and Alex Pietrangelo scored in the first period to give the Golden Knights an early lead. However, the Canucks answered back in the second period with goals from Elias Pettersson and Bo Horvat. Brock Boeser tied the game in the third period, and Ethan Bear scored the game-winning goal with just over eight minutes remaining.

Quinn Hughes had a standout performance for the Canucks, recording a goal and four assists. Thatcher Demko made 39 saves to earn the victory.

The Canucks will be back in action on Thursday night when they host the Seattle Kraken at Rogers Arena.
