Cooley's Goal Seals Coyotes' Victory

Vancouver Falls to First-Place Canucks

The Arizona Coyotes defeated the first-place Vancouver Canucks 4-3 in overtime on Thursday night at Rogers Arena. Logan Cooley scored the game-winning goal 3:50 into the extra period.

The Canucks had a 3-2 lead late in the third period, but the Coyotes tied the game with just over two minutes remaining. Jack McBain scored the tying goal with an assist from Matias Maccelli.

In overtime, Cooley took a pass from Janis Moser and fired a shot past Canucks goalie Thatcher Demko. The goal was Cooley's 10th of the season.

The Coyotes are now 22-34-7 on the season, while the Canucks are 35-24-6. The Canucks will host the Calgary Flames on Monday night at Rogers Arena.
