Albuquerque, NM – The University of New Mexico (UNM) Lobo women's basketball program has secured a commitment from highly touted post player Brooke Cooper, it was announced today by head coach Mike Bradbury.

Cooper's Impressive Credentials

A 6'4" center from Volcano Vista High School, Cooper is considered one of the top recruits in the nation at her position. She was named a McDonald's All-American, a Naismith Trophy Girls' High School All-America Honorable Mention, and the Gatorade New Mexico Girls Basketball Player of the Year.

In her senior season, Cooper averaged 25.1 points, 15.6 rebounds, and 6.0 blocks per game, leading Volcano Vista to the Class 5A state championship.
