L.A. Dodgers & Miami Score Runs

Dodgers Win 4-2

The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Miami Marlins 4-2 on Tuesday night at Dodger Stadium. The Dodgers scored four runs in the second inning.

Marlins starter Sandy Alcantara loaded the bases with nobody out in the second on two singles and a walk. Chris Taylor drove in two runs with a double, and Will Smith drove in another run on a ground out.

Cody Bellinger gave the Dodgers a 4-0 lead with his ninth home run of the season in the third inning.

Marlins Score Two

The Marlins scored their only runs of the game in the sixth inning. After Bryan Evans walked the first two batters of the inning, Lewin Diaz doubled to knock in two runs.

Dodgers reliever Victor Gonzalez came in and got a strikeout and a double play to end the inning.

Bullpen Shines

The Dodgers bullpen was excellent on Tuesday night. Evans, Gonzalez, Phil Bickford, and Craig Kimbrel combined to allow just two hits and two walks in five innings of relief.

Kimbrel struck out two batters in the ninth inning to earn his sixth save of the season.

Next Up

The Dodgers will continue their series against the Marlins on Wednesday night at Dodger Stadium.

Julio Urias will start for the Dodgers, while Braxton Garrett will start for the Marlins.
